Many weekend morning and afternoons (especially if it's rainy!) I like to relax on the couch or somewhere at home with a blanket, a hot tea, and the newspaper. This probably happens even more so during these cold, gross months of winter. Fall has walking at the park, summer has the pool - but in winter, the couch and a blanket claim my favorite weekend me-time indulgence.
But like I mentioned, too much of this and too little other activity planning leaves this Buckhead Betty feeling a bit blah. So I've been working on planning out some things to do in upcoming weeks, including OysterFest and a few dinner parties. One of those dinner parties is this weekend, and I am looking forward to attending a Super Bowl party on Sunday night, too.
Somewhere in there, though, I am still craving a bit of Katherine-time on a budget, and I think I have found the perfect spot - the mall.
Don't laugh :) This idea is perfect for my creative, home-y side, since its a free event at Pottery Barn to learn about arranging your bedroom in the best manner. I have this wonderful new bedding and painting in there (and nightstands to come!), but I can't wait to see what Pottery Barn has to suggest to make the space feel extra-special.
They are holding these events all over, apparently, so check their site for stores near you. You will need to call ahead and RSVP. I can't wait to share what I learn at the session on Sunday near me!
