It's Your Birthday ... Save if You Want To

I don't even remember how I ran across this site, but I bookmarked Free Birthday Treats a few weeks ago, thinking that it was a fantastic spot to send all of you. I bet you have a friend with a birthday coming up, or maybe it's your own! Instead of spending lots of money on said-birthday, check out the discounts and freebies that are offered out there. Free Birthday Treats is one huge master list of them, categorized by state, adult vs. kid, retailer type, and discount vs. free. They also have a blog that has some other freebie tips and ideas.

For example, as a GA resident, I can get some of these things for free because of my birthday:

Free dessert during my birthday month at Maggiano's (this is clutch for me, since I am Christmas baby and it's so hard to get people out on my actual birthday day)
Free smoothie at Smoothie King
Free chocolate fondue for two at the Melting Pot
15% off at Loehmann's

Most deals require you to sign up for an email or member list of some sort. I did a quick Google search, and Hey It's Free! and Birthday Freebies also look like good deal finding spots.
