I am really feeling the local events circuit right now -- something about the summer just gets our town grooving. Today I have another outing for you, bloggy friends. But it's a 180 from yesterday's
beer fest -- this one is a museum exhibit opening, with a twist.

On Saturday, August 7, the
High Museum is having a "soiree" --
one of my favorite fabulous words, by the way right up there with "fabulous"! -- in honor of the new
Dali exhibit.
Your $15 ticket gets you a night of entertainment, complete with a fun photo booth (run by my new in-real-life friends
LeahandMark!), a flamenco guitarist, a DJ, a jewelry trunk show, and a fashion show. All of this plus, I am assuming, a cash bar of sorts and admission into the exhibit itself. They have aptly named it a "Culture Shock" event, likely due to the chaos that will ensue within the usual tranquil walls of the museum.
Are you looking for a fun date night outing, or a hangout spot with some friends? Then this High Museum night of fun might be for you! But act quickly -- I hear tickets are going fast :)
