My Imaginary Decor

I have been in total catalog-lust land so far this Holiday Season. The mailers keep coming, and I am not complaining, because each one is totally full of decorating eye candy to inspire me.

The most recent one from Crate and Barrel is no exception. If I could totally outfit my home from this store and Pottery Barn (with some thrifty or vintage pieces thrown in for good measure), I'd be in Heaven. Sometimes I just wander around their Lenox Mall stores in quiet delight and reverence.

Here would be my lust-worthy living room -- clean and bright with the perfect touches of festive holiday color ...



Can I just move in right now?

And don't forget a family room to drool over -- light-colored furniture with dark wood and grass-green accents, complete with snow falling gently outside. Note to self: must live somewhere other than Atlanta for this to ever happen ...



Oh, and a high function + fashion piece to fill out the dining room area -- this thing folds out into its own bar!



And when I tire of dreaming about my future home, Crate and Barrel never fails to then inspire the Baking Betty in me, too :)
