Hey ladies and gents! How is your week going? Is it as whirlwindy as mine? If so, hold on to your hats, because we are halfway through and almost to the weekend again!
One of the items on my must-buy list for the spring and summer ahead has been a fabulous pair of nude pumps. Being a fair-skinned Irish lass, this hasn't been as easy a task as you might think, since so many of the neutral heels out there are actually more brown-toned than ivory. So I have bided my time, but finally found a lovely pair that look just perfect on my freckled skin!
They are BCBG Generation in Tapioca Santos, via Piperlime. I am such a fan of that site. They run great sales, so if you know what you need and are willing and able to wait, you can pick up some fantastic deals. These babies are really comfortable too, which if you are a lady, you know is a must with 4-inch heels.
Today I am wearing them with a black sweater shift dress. The nude color of the pumps is supposed to "elongate" your legs. What do you think? Is it working on my petite frame? :)
Tonight I am going to a photo shoot for a spread in an upcoming local magazine. I am really excited! More details to come when the issues hit the stands, but I can tell you that the focus of the article will be EARRINGS! I wore this simple outfit today because tonight I am going to jazz it up later with all sorts of fun and affordable jewelry. Can't wait!
Have a great day, everyone!

1. you look FABULOUS!!
2. Love the new pumps. I too have been looking for the right pair to go along with my oh-so-pale Irish/German combo skin tone with not even freckles to meld together to add some color. Ha!
3. They do make you look taller than you are - could be the 4 in heels, but I'll just say it's b/c of the color. ;-)
